FREEMASON
Freemasonry is not a religion or government but esteems the values of each and exhorts its members to maintain the highest level of virtue in every relationship. The values of honesty and integrity are illustrated as being “on the level” with others. Connecticut Masonic chapters are open to men and women regardless of race. No religious affiliation is specified, one must only profess a belief in a supreme being. It’s true that many founders of our country were Freemasons, and the ideals they embraced are embodied in the basic tenets that make the United States a free nation.
